its not that often you see that but just look at where the fresh air is flowing to the cabin and you’ll see, the amount of mist will be proportional to the outside heat and humidity, actually pretty cool to watch but more during boarding (doors open and passengers still comming), after take off it will dissapear as you climb. ๐

An-26 Vs An-32
my dear flogger, here it is a pic of an ex-peruvian air force An-26 and the An-32 FAP, the fuselage is the same, but notice the lolcation of the engines (above the wings on the An-32 due to the bigger 5180hp Ivchenko Ai-20)
a friend of mine from high school became flight engineer on the An-32, he told me he fall in love with the 32 after his first flight, he was standing behind the F/E (just looking and attached to nothing) the A/C rotated after 600 meters and put something like 45 degrees of nose up (i’ve seen them regularly doing that ๐ฎ ), he (my friend) ended up like a tumbling dice all the way back to the ramp in the back, all beaten and full of bruces…but deeply in love ๐ , i couldnt stop laughing just to imagine that, he was also laughing and said “what a performance” ๐
it made me wish i was there ๐

again money issues with the ruskiye druks, i think that’s exactly the point that make some potential customers “think twice” before buying from russia, they have the “know how” but always it comes back to the money issue.
perhaps they could sell much more if that wasnt the problem…mucho dinero compadre ๐

the mist is normal on every airliner (russian, american, chineese or wherever they come from) it occurs when your packs are running and the outside wether is very hot and humid, due to the exess humidity in the air exeeding the capacity of the water separators, seen a lot on A-310 and specially A-330, canadian summer is pretty hot and humid for example ๐
so nothing to worry about. ๐

i dont see a very safe design in where you risk a fire because sea water entring the sub via the hatch
sorry but it doesnt make sense, such a design should have been just discarded and sent to re-design before starting the construction.
there will be a scenario where a battle damaged sub will have to surface for repairs in stormy seas or just sink and die.
about british cars…that’s another story, i love the austin coopers (old and new) and my wife loves the aston martin (actually me too ๐ )

hi baphomet bro, long time no read… ๐
those are good news, with the Mi-35 in venezuelan arsenal, the bad guys better think about laying down their arms or pay the ultimate price.
do you know what kinda’ weapons will be included on the Mi-35?.
anyway all 3 types are very good machines, i think venezuela did right getting them, congratulations.

thanks jonesy.
as usual your info is impecable ๐
thanks again brother
Camaro.
thanks for the info on the A-184 jonesy ๐
now, what about the SST-4?
is that a new Super-Sonic-Transport-4? or some new perfume? ๐
now seriously, i cant find no info about this particular one
thanks to all ๐
Camaro.
the bad guys could easily get SAM’s and these are the problem, IMHO the latest variants of the Mi-25 will be less vulnerable to these SAM’s and could also mean a hard punch on these bad guys.

dear flogger ๐ฎ

yes an officer is dead, my condolences to all
the other 2 seamen are ok, good news.
now to the point…
i wonder why Canada is spending 1 billion dollars in 4 used…(to stay polite) subs ???
couldnt Canada afford new Scorpenes or type 214’s??? latin american coutrys can, but the G7 member mighty economy Canada cant?
รงa pue la moufette mes amis (smells like squonk my friends)
but the politicians are talking again about raising their salaries (that i bet will pass ok very fast :dev2: )
shame on them ๐ก
Camaro.
the way i’ve seen is:
1- flight time = wheels off the ground
2- air time = from push back to engines shut down / choks in.
i remember we’ve got payed in air time ๐ (long gone happy times)
this in comercial aviation, got no idea about military.
