Today saw our Gloster Gladiator take big step towards its 1st flight, with engine runs. But a few niggles from the Bristol Mercury stopped play.

She did look good on the line, after being closed in the hangar for so long.

Also the XVIII has been undergoing its engine runs.

And not to be outdone, the Nimrod had engine runs for the 1st time in about 3 1/2 years.
