Interesting. Could that be Barnes Wallis standing on the ‘bridge’ in photo 6?
There are some more in the LLA ‘Memorial Flight’ Spring magazine.

I have noticed that the barge (Gps Apollo) and its tug have taken shelter nearer the shore by Ramsgate harbour. I expect the strong winds on recent days are delaying operations.

I received a letter from my MP Adam Holloway contain one from the MOD.
It says that they have been unable to contact the finders by email. Perhaps
qattra can help make the link. I do not have the letter handy as I have too recently left hospital, but it was The Minister for Veteran Affairs.

So what has gone wrong? The BBC News item mentioned in my ‘Good news for Bicester’ thread says ‘a motor museum and aviation facility.’

According to the BBMF website the Hurricane is having a boost control problem sorted and should return to its home during the next week.

Probably at Thunder City in South Africa. They have been trying to sell the fleet for sometime. Several videos on Utube.
