Can Anyone translate key points in this video. Soulds like modernization, but looks like complete overhaul and never painted (new)fuselage. Looks like a production of new Tu-22M3?

thanks in advance.
German Typhoons have intercepted 7 Russian Air Force combat planes over the Baltic Sea today
“….included 2x MiG-31 Foxhound, 2x Su-34 Fullback, 1x Su-27 Flanker and 2x Su-24 Fencer jets”
Yes. There are number of articles on the net mentioning ISIS being terrified of Female Kurdish soldiers because apparently if they are killed by a female fighter they do not go to “heaven”
Good strategy.
I would send helicopters only to a night battle against ISIS. Helicopters are shot down way too often. Would you want to be a helicopter gunship pilot there?
Then Flying tanks such as used A-10s, Su-25s, in lower altitude range to defend the cities, and villages, and destroy ISIS hardware. High flying supersonic jets of the 4+th and 5th generations are a waste of money, and time. They send them there to test new systems, not to win as fast as possible.
How many tens of villages and towns has ISIS invaded since the beginning of US led bombing campaign. Billions of dollars spent in few weeks on a very slow approach to defeat ISIS. On purpose!
i never acknowledged the amount of separation between the two engines. That’s great, and very much like Mig-29/Su-27 family designs. Very different than F-22/F15 ….
Good move imo.
2x F22 Intercept 2xBear, 2xIL76 tankers and 2xMig 31
Latter Two Bear were intercepted by two CF18 in the Beaufort Sea
Events seems to Coincide with the visit of the Ukr President

I read this article, and found it quite interesting. I was expecting some photos by now. Have Mig-31s and F-22s ever come in close range intercept situation before? How close do you think this was anyway?
Croatian AF Mig-21 crashed today. Pilot ejected safely.
Does anyone have current status and count of flyable Mig-21s in Croat airforce? Are there any still in Ukraine?

Very nice models Flanker_Man. Thanks for posting them side by side!

Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciated.
Surely China is working hard on the new engine, a successor to WS-10, or its very improved derivate for all new stealth production line, including future H-XX. Unless they simply get the deal from Russia for one of the variants of AL-41.
I mean, who would object :-))
On the other note, personally, I am on the side of speed with partial stealth for strike aircraft surviveability, instead if just slower nearly non- maneuverable stealth platform. I believe strategy and the right radar system of a modern air defense will knock the “flying wing” out much easier than lets say a stealthy variant of Tu-22, or a enlarged version of J-20 as aircraft carrier attacker.
Now speaking practically, which is more maneuverable, T-22M3 or B-2? .. and would it make enough of a difference to avoid today’s SA or AA missile if it gets within the range of Aircraft carrier defenses, lets say. I feel that speed and stealth should be two main factors for a new strike aircraft or medium size bomber.
Interesting points. May I ask:
1. why do you say the newly built H-6 variant is a success? Is it because it is in fact a new build with modern electronic? This basically serves as non stealthy flying platform for launching air to sea missiles. Probably a test bed for many new systems for next build indigenous bomber.
2. Why would they need flying wing? Simplicity and proven effective stealth design? I would think they need something in 1.5-1.9Mach range for quicker reach and fast retreat.
3. If they are going to go for subsonic strike bomber, why do they need new advanced engine to be developed. Why not use something already built. Why design new engine unless you need to push the performance capabilities such as speed for super cruise.
Thanks. Too bad no news for so long.
As for Tu-22M3s, i only read that someone made an official statement that Russia will not supply them to China, nor sell license after all the talks and plans.. Probably in exchange to something U.S and Japan offered them to keep these birds away from China’s mass production.
Whats up with big China’s new bomber situation. I haven’t heard much since their failed attempts to get Tu-22M3s
Sorry, im a bit out of date on this. I didn’t actually find much about it.
Are we going to see H-XX stealth medium/long range bomber roll out soon? Or you think they will keep that one to themselves in contrast to J-31, and J-20
Surely China with its wast lands and seas need to have longer range striker (aka stealth Tu-22)to say the least. It would be another way of keeping U.S aircraft carrier groups at even more distance.
Thanks.
I guess getting HD video of Su-37 is not going to happen ever. Unless there is another video of it done later?
Is there a equivalent video of Su-35 available online, other than ones from airshows? Something promotional ?
thanks
Would Mi-28NEs they received ( i think at least 13 by now) make any difference as opposed to using Mi-35Ms while attacking ISIS in your opinion. Other other than a much costlier loss of a toy in case of crash or shot down.
Is there any obvious advantage Mi-28 has over Mi-35M in this kind of war?
Great news! Can’t wait until the first weapon tests for the internal bays start. Oh by the way what weapons were used Deino?
Great news, and refreshing photos indeed!
Why do you think they are not already testing internal weapons? Maybe it is done in the same time, except that they are withholding photos from public of open weapon bays for now.
