Judging from the photo, I don’t think I can help, but if you post a list of the books, I’m sure we can probably come up with a few.

Just wish I had the photo to view. Post says there an attachment but nothing opens?????
Sorry to hear you’ve lost so much valuable info.

Ive no idea what the wages are like but no one is going to do it for free and to be honest I’d prefer some of my donations to be going to employing the best people rather than the cheapest when its going over crowds of thousands.

I agree with your sentiment but IF it starts ‘flying OVER crowds of thousands’ it will be grounded. No aircraft is allowed to fly directly towards or over the spectators. That’s how they get killed when something goes wrong.

Looks awful but gets the job done.

By the way, the Lightning had 4 canons and an air to ground rocket pack holding 32 (memory getting frail) rocket. Only problem with it was that in a dive, the plane was going so fast, the rockets couldn’t get away quick enough and bounced off the under nose section of the fuselage.

I happen to like the Lightning, but I will also say that the Hunter is a beautiful airplane…….kind of like an early Porsche 911 of the air…..small, perfect lines, timeless. Have flown against them a few times, and they are very cool to see still flying. Equally nice looking on deck.

Have to agree. The Lightning is an ugly duckling on the ground but transforms into a supersonic swan in the air. The Hunter, on the other hand, is a gentleman airplane. Gracious and so perfectly proportioned (all versions). I’m particularly fond of the T7’s with their longer nose. Arguably the prettiest design ever.

An interesting picture. Has it been p/shopped? Look below the bomb and there are some very strange changes in the ‘pixelations’ of the water. Look over to the right and what are those ‘ghosts’? The boat does look very big, perhaps because it is. Look at the scale of the people in the forward well, they look about right. Compare them to the size of the Lanc’. Seems about right to me. Any more clues?

NOT a fighter. It was an Interceptor. Very nice artwork though.

Oh dear. I see a catastrophe about to happen. If that animation it right, those engines are going to rip out as soon as the lift starts. What are they thinking, if indeed they are thinking apart from the time restraints. Just my opinion.

I think it’s “My Opinion For What It’s Worth” but i may be wrong.
Aircraft are generally very difficult to get access to ,local airfields sometimes not s local.
