Can’t help you with this quest but if you’re interested, there’s a new book just out, “Javelin Boys” by Steve Bond. You’ll be able to get a copy from Amazon (who are already advertising it) or Grub Street Publishing who are taking orders. I have given him my 2cent worth of info and it appears in chapter 5.
“Down to a sunless sea” by David Graham. A giant airliner caught halfway across the Atlantic Ocean when a nuclear war wipes out every thing in front of them and behind them. Where to go.
I can also recommend his “Sidewall” where airlines try to destroy a huge transatlantic passenger carrying hovercraft, as it will steal their passengers. This is very realistic as David Graham is a hover craft designer by trade.
There are still some buildings left from RAF Yatesbury, 4 miles east of Calne. Some are noe grade 11 listed but apparently not a lot of preservation work being done. Might be worth a visit. Visit sites such as the RAF Yatesbury Association or something like that. I have happy memories of being sent there twice for Air Radar Training courses uring my RAF career.
What’s the story behind this?
Blackburn Beverley. It’s about time they rescued the only remaining example at Fort Paulli.

Fabulous……….if only!!
I’d feel safer in the Merc.
That F300 is fantastic. The way all trikes should be, leaning into corners. Beautiful design and should be made compulsory if one wants to drive into a city. Small, sleek and intelligent. LOVE it.
Thanks Daniel, nice to see something from home. Morphett Vale resident.
I researched French and Polish aircraft with no luck. What made you go Russian? BTW, well done.
Any autopsy reports? Could be the pilot was incapacitated and someone else tried to fly the plane.
Remember that 5kgs I lost, well it’s back on again. !00kgs seems to be a magnetic weight for me.
My diet is less energetic. Miss one meal a day, without eating larger meals to make up for it, and eating less carbs and a lot of fish.
Weighed myself this morning and found I have lost 5Kgs. Now to keep it off, plus another 10.
Hi guys. It’s been a long time since I last viewed the forum so here’s just a quick update.
I’ve taken a side step from designing planes with a difference and am now getting my hands dirty in restoring a Thruster ultralight that has been stored for 10 years. A long term project but one that is keeping me sane in my ‘old age’. I’m looking at flying in maybe 9 months time.
