RAF Feltwell is the schooling centre for all the military families’ kids from Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Feltwell itself……
Moggy
I’ll try for confirmation but my son(RAF) is in charge of training American servicemen to drive on the left, at Mildenhall. I’m not sure about the families.
Now if only they did away with all the computers and radios, actual driving skill might once more become the dominant aspect of F1 racing.

Diamond ones with bracelet to match and a long round the world cruise so he can break the news gently.
Why buy her anything. Just say “You know where the door is Sweetheart”. :diablo:
The dark grey skies are a superb background for some of the best shots I’ve seen. The Hunter is definitely one of the most sleek designs and elegant jets of its time.
Thanks.
Gotta agree. The T7 is by far the most beautiful shape of them all. Reminds me of the Dolphins I see in our local waters. So graceful are they both.

Should that be:
Some people have more money than cents.
(see what I did there?):)

Yes, I almost did it myself but decided to keep it simple for you folk in the UK.:diablo:

Marilyn Monroe’s dress that she famously wore in the film ‘The Seven Year Itch’ has sold at auction for $2.8m dollars US.
It was part of a collection of famous outfits and momorabilia including Laurel & Hardys car owned by actress Debbie Reynolds and sold off at auction in the USA.
Some people have more money than sense.

OOPS yeh, got the two incidents back to front.
Jim, as this is an aviation based thread, I’m surprised no-one has recommended the obvious. Go flying young man, go flying. Surely you have an airfield near you where you can either bum a ride or go halves with the pilot.
A lot cheaper than taking missus shopping.
As my bumper sticker says, “Wanna get high, learn to fly”

Look closer guys. Much more damage than you think. Like, where are his main wheels? Still in the wings by the looks of things. If that’s the case, there’ll be radiator damage as well.
I think it was back in the 70’s when 3 Vulcans set out from the UK and flew the polar route into Canada then proceed in line abreast (widely spaced) southward to Mexico. The whole of the good ol’ US of A was filmed and the yanks didn’t know that they had been there ……………until they saw the films that is. Now how true that is I don’t know, how the planes were refueled I don’t know but the ‘story’ was widely known in certain RAF circles.
If true, that was stealth.
