any proficient artist could have produced that pic from any half decent photo…..doesnt mean there is anything special about it….and maybe he did see that HUD at zuhai?
or maybe he got actual access to the aircraft to trace the contours and do crayon rubbings of the panel lines?

if you wanted to go somewhere with plenty of helicopter activity, then try DHFS Shawbury if you can get there.

the russian air force has no need for a specifically designed stealth aircraft……..its in the process of being able to take car eof its existing aircraft quite successfully.

since this is a forum primarily hosted by a british published magazine it would not be beyond the bounds of comprehension that the person in question could be assumed to be talking about a british location.
as for the original question,
if you go anywhere around Yeoviltons AIAA you’ll see plenty of helicopters in the week. Up on the moors, you’ll probably see plenty also, not to mention around aldershot etc on the mil training grounds.

accurate as ever…….

perhaps if boeing didnt literally GIVE their airliners away they would still be making money. Boeing in there airliner business also appear slow to take up new advanced materials for their aircraft(excluding the 7e7). and seem to be particularly lacking in composites on their aircraft. airbus has embraced this technology and is allot better for it….roll on the A400M’s totally composite wing structure!

ahh i did my flying scholarship at egbo, did a lot more than that at egwc tho!
that place is going to get quite a makeover soon! I had a friend who was an afiso in the halfpenny green tower but he got paid pretty well for doing that and did a lot of flying on the field, he did some summer work with the fire brigade their too.
its cotswold gliding club from aston down airfield…thats where the cub is based, aswell as the falke and the stemme……

of course it will, but what I am saying is that, at worst, the aircraft is MORE likley to break its back because it WAS NOT designed to be stored this way.
and what your actually saying is that the centre of mass moves backwards a small amount, no weight moves.
