So of course you armchair critics could do better? No ,thought not.

He is one of the best ever aviation presenters and also has been willing to speak up for those in the RAF who are still gagged.

I would certainly be interrsted in buying a dvd of the Airshow world series.

Most of the Uk wrecks that I have dived on suffer from poor visibility. It is really neat when an artist creates the whole of the wreck in one view when I have seen it in 5 foot sections of view.

The story I told was of a failed hoaxer sad to say, he never had any proof that his Spitfire existed and even forged some paperwork to try and convince me.

Cant recall the serial offhand , but I do recall that he had no idea I was involved in research, he just thought I liked planes ! So he must have copied a serial off a pic of a MKXII and when I checked it was one that went in the sea.So no chance of that being a secret survivor hidden in a shed.

So a group of people protested against the troops, I am sad to say that it has never been limited to Muslims.
During my time in the RAF I was insulted because I was part of the armed forces and this happened in North Wales, Yorkshire,Scotland and West London. Bigots are all over the place and are nothing new. It just seems worse now because the film crews are news hungry and are informed in advance.
And racism is also more common than admitted , its not just those with ethnic backgrounds who get picked out. In Wales and Scotland I have been subjected to verbal abuse and thats just because I am English. But it is a minority who behave like that although its still a shock when it happens.

Well the chap in Cleethorpes also pulled another Walter Mitty stunt which really soured my views of him because it caused worry. He said he was flying up to Inverness solo in a Cessna 150 from an airfield in North East England. He passed us an ETA and date but he never arrived and ATC Inverness became concerned when we contacted them. Eventually the police in Cleethorpes went round to his flat and confirmed he was still there. Later he claimed that he was stricken with an extreme tummy bug and could not fly.

All very strange when fantasy crosses over in a persons mind, he did fancy himself as a writer of fiction so perhaps he was testing his stories.

I have a choice of debit card or credit card. A while ago an airline would not take my debit card so I used the other card. Lucky for me because it was for Oasis airline tickets and they went bust. And after 7 months I got a full refund of around 700 quid which easily makes the annual fee of 20 quid worthwhile. So the credit card purchases give some protection and for that reason alone are useful tools.

Gosh, summing up people on appearance in a few seconds, wow thats amazing? !! But surely you cannot judge by appearance, it is actions , words that matter. Ok i know in some cases a uniform is worn but that actually just adds to the problem.

My own experience is that appearance is misleading. many well educated folks dress down when out and about and they can also be scruffy and loaded with disposable income, And check out how easily con men fool people by acting out an expected appearance.
My own appearance varies according to where I am going and what i am planning to do.Even my accent varies depending on who I am with.
