Seems this has turned into a EFvsF22 thread, which I must take some responsibility for! I don’t think any 1 really argues that the F22 isn’t the better plane, this would be ludicrous. but I think for some people to suggest the EF is so far behind the F22 that it is not worth having is ludicrous also! I mean as a air superiority fighter F22 wins but as a CAS aircraft in Afghanistan or a general workhorse I would say the F22 is overkill. in my opinion they are Two different planes both very good so y bother argue which is best?

mind you if where not just talking of fighters the vulcan and victor have got to win hands down right?

plus im sure the idea of the subs i no 1 knows were they are! and i would imagen that some countries that you would lauch nukes against would notice if you were building underwater silos and wud be watching were u place them and therefor i assume they wouldnt be to hard to take out with torps. but then again if you could build them without any 1 noticing it would be a good idea, id say the best thing for britain to do is make dummy nukes to save money because lets face it if we need to use them were prob screwed anway!
