    Easy target?
How is it an easy target.. lol. You wanna spear it with your car or boat?

Seriously, the upcomeing OL. There will be great need for security.
Having a heli fleet on standby near by is one good security measure.

    Its not only for Snipers.
It will be for medical care and traffic surveilance, etc etc its a long list.

They’ll be hell to pay if they do

rotor wing aircraft with snipers on board will petrol London during the games and ocean is the base of operation. and 9 assault sq. royal marines will be on board. I’m sure I also read somewhere that it was going to be used as the base for SF during the games but I might have imagined that bit πŸ˜€

EF and RAFALE can only MANTAIN supercruise,i mean they have to reach supersonic with AB and mantain supercruise using max thrust.

In other hand su-35 can REACH and MANTAIN supercruise in dry thrust ,thanks to 117s engines :):)

can you provide proof for that?

im sure i have read somewere that the eurofighter easily breaks the speed barrier on dry thrust. which is believable taking into account its thrust to weight ratios.

based on the SMP’s rediculous plans for independence, scotland and the rest of Great briton would continue to share armed forces. its not going to happen anway sooner or later scotland will realise how lucky they are to be part of the UK and not a small euro country wallowing like portugal or greece.

Leuchers (north) and Coningsby (south) typhoons. Usually a pair of airframes on extended readiness at both. Which are ready to launch as soon as the pilots in the seat. Others can be in the air shortly after but really its very unlikely there will be a threat a single tiffy can’t deal with never mind 2. Also typhoons are very fast and climb very well, so time to target is pretty good.

It’s not really surprising that the typhoon was able to maintain its advantages over the other aircraft in terms of Thrust to weight ratio. What is surprising is that the Mig was able to produce similar performance.

I assume the heavy confer was a set weight/load for all of the aircraft to serve as a control element of a test. Therefore it would give you a good indication of each aircrafts performance.

yes, where where all our allies during the falklands? i know its an obvious argument, suez crises uk & france? im sure more imformed people than i could give more examples,F35C,is it not always better to have something & not need it rather than need something you dont have? also I believe that the closer you get to a target without being seen is better than them knowing your comeing fom a distance,

    condoms, guns and F-35Cs

So you admit it doesn’t provide any difference in the capability to strike on the first day then. Just to make sure we are all agreed on that, since I wouldn’t want there to be any misunderstandings ;). As for my eyes, they roll where they wish, we like in a supposedly free society, and my eyes are entitled to their three degrees of freedom 😎

no we dont agree at all. we currently dont have a stealth aircraft with a EW suite as advanced as the one that will be fitted on the F-35. which will certainly enhance our first day strike capability. you may dissagree, thats your choice.

One does wonder how the UK has ever fought wars if it wasn’t able to attack on the first day, due to lack of the F35, which as we all know is the only aircraft capable of attacking on the first day

did i say that we didnt have a first day strike capability? ermm no i think i did. if you read what i wrote i stated that i think the RAF want the first strike ability IT offers. ie improvements over what current systems offer stealth and top notch EW suites ect.. so you can roll your eyes in another direction please.

it may well be a blessing in disguise, forcing the gov to buy SH for the navy and a number of F35A for the RAF (i believe they want the first day ability it offers)
