Like I said, I’ll pass. NASA is a shadow of its former self. Been that way for years.Their management track record sucks. Of course we most likely will do some more shuttle missions and burn up another crew. Like I said the refirb process on the shuttle between missions was a joke. Workers that did the refirb process even said a lot of the refirb changes in response to the ’86 disaster were not helpful. Of course I guess it is hard to know when you get rid of your own newly hired “independant” safety/process review board because you don’t like what they are telling you.
Plow NASA into the ground and start fresh and you might have something. Better yet, let the Japanese, Chinese, French, Russians etc enter into the bidding process to produce components/facilites for this new venture. Could save money and might even pull off the whole mission without murdering the crew because NASA doing the whole show is going to be a real fun thing to see what kind of an abortion they create.
