Wow. Thats a lot of green paint. 😀
OK the rover thingy just showed what we know already: Bunch of dust. OK great. So we spend 600bil to send people on a trip? This would be administered by the same organization that operates the Shuttle. A craft which was sold to us as a quick turn craft yet is operated the same as if we did a 200 day depot refirb on a C-5 after each flight. The missions we did with the shuttle could have been done with a rocket ( remember the only way you save money with a shuttle is when you operated it as it was originally sold to us ( quick turn missions ) ) Not tens of thousands of manhours to refirb the bird between missions as it is now. As the shuttle is operated now, it is too expensive per flight. All this and we probably would not have killed as many people if we used rockets instead. Losing two birds ( and the lives lost ) per over 100 flights is not a good safety record.
So this new venture will be managed by NASA. Sorry, I’ll pass. The money could best be spent here.
Cool. Bunch of dust. No need to go there. 😎 😀
As I have said before with this video. A two thumbs up for quality in a corporate music video. One of Arthurs favs 😀
The other hat trick from that era is making a high tech missile work as advertised. Good luck 😀
Don’t do a Lego F-18E/F. It will take too many legos, be over your budget and be over weight.
??
Too funny 😀
Too funny 😀
Damn. That phony press release I sent them on “invisible bombs” worked !!!
I’m buyin. First round on me.
OK thats it. Start production again and cancel / retire all apaches 😀

And what has the blk60 as operational g-limit, when packed with bombs and fuel ? In clean configuration, the F-16 is shurely better for airshows, but in real life ?
Nethertheless It would be interesting see the results of an simulated combat in A/A configuration. The better acceleration and top speed, as well as highspeed turning rates may give here the advantage of the higher missile-range.
Comparing blk60 with Mirage 2000-5 would be intersting, too. Maybe we can get such info soon from the UAE.
Except that the F-16 has some speed and an option to refuse engagement. The F-18E/F doesn’t have that option. Matter of fact. A whole bunch of jets from the 60’s can refuse engagment from the F-18E/F.
The F-18E/F may be 4th gen but it doesnt have the A2A power to back it up.
The new late Blk 60 F-16 is new and is superior to the F-18E/F in all areas except it cant do carriers.
no in this case its because it has a mica
