Hmmm. Maybe it wasn’t an accident. Could be an increased security risk. The deer may have been mind controlled to step out at that time and cause you injury. Fortunately the explosive device malfunctioned. I suggest changing your route to and from work each day, alter your schedule, break up any routine you may have and increase your security awareness to potential threats. Fortunately your superior training got you out of this one. Be careful.

I am asleep on a Friday night (usually having conked out after an excessive quantity of alcohol and fallen asleep on the sofa, only to wake up at 4am in a pool of dribble and with a crick in the neck)
All the sudden Ashley, I know way too much about you 😀 😀

Good point. Combat Aircraft has had some good articles lately. One was an overview of French AF Mirage 2000 ops over Afghanistan. The article on USAF Reserve F-16s was very very accurate ( info about getting USAFR F-16s LITENING capable ). I do find some of their coverage of the Russian AF unrealistic. As if it was written 5 years ago and is just a rehash of what we already know.
AFM: If I find myself getting bored with it once in a while, I will get Air International instead and read up on the half of the articles in there that deal with airline tech. Kinda neat. These two magazines require me to do a 40 mile round trip to get.

Yes I know it’s not the Bismark. Always loved that signal though. Even if I paraphrased it.
