Hmmm. Well, it’s a Boulton Paul aircraft, and they originally made wooden sheds, so I think a fine ‘wood’ effect with thick brown paint and serrated scraper board would be appropriate.

Time for my pills.

Maybe you should meet up with myself and Phantom Phixer at MAM my friend. We are both going to Reno Air Races next year.

Also, 374 views to this thread. I wonder how many of you ‘hit and run’…….

I make these video’s for your enjoyment on this forum. If people can’t be bothered to comment on the video’s…….well, work it out for yourselves!!

No, thats too gay for such a fine aeroplane. Farrari Red with black go faster stripes down the side was what I was thinking.

A very sad loss.

I remember his airshow commentaries very well and his presentations in Tomorrows World like they were yesturday.

We at the museum have come to the conclusion the the B.P. P111 looks great in white, so she’s staying that way…… :dev2:

driffield is now driver training. ive bin round it, slept there, ran round it, crawled over it, drove over it. but the powers that be want rid of it.

What chance have we against an old airfield being saved with the way the government is nowadays? Non! Unless someone buys it privately for a vast amount of money you have no chance!

Developers with high prices will soon be in there building their new factories or houses. I am living probably 50 yards away from what was Bitteswell Aerodrome and it’s now known as Magna Park Industrial Estate………

What a waste………..I feel for you raver, but I think your at a lost cause there mate 🙁

Sorry, I stand down on my comments……the negativity towards the Vulcan still appears to be here 😀 ….

I shall continue painting the B.P P111 in it’s new white colour scheme and keep out of this Vulcan lark 😀 😀

I have to admit, she’s one pilot I’d love to meet cause as you say, she a bit of a corker, as for the Reno segment, for some reason, Fury’s dominated the 2005 Gold race apart from ‘the Bear’.

Gone are the days of Dago Red….shame 🙁

Right! Enter the three digit code in the box on the top right of the box, click using the mouse, the download button. It then starts a countdown from around 44 seconds. When it gets to about 11 seconds a popup box appears in front of the link button, close it down using the X button. After the countdown has stopped, the button changes and says ‘click to download’. Click it with the mouse and then a box appears as usual when you right click something as ‘save as’. Click save and it starts to download.

Sounds alot but it actually isn’t :rolleyes:

Anyway, I think they should all be white. All that camo with non-blended demarcations. Tut-tut, I don’t know . . .

Somehow, I don’t think the Sea Vixen will quite look the same in white Les :rolleyes:……….What about yellow? :diablo:

Well I must admit, I’m shocked that the comments on the Boulton Paul haven’t been political, regarding it’s new colour scheme 😉

I was just thinking to myself…….have you not noticed how the negative attituder’s have all stopped posting on this thread since it was announced 558 had been saved….

These people make me laugh, they know who they are, they are the one’s that think they know everything about aviation and that what we should do is believe them, they don’t do anything for aviation, they just sit at home thinking about what they can type on this forum to currupt us hard aviation enthusiasts, they think they control this forum……….HOW WRONG THEY ARE!!!!!

I don’t recall the reg of it, but the Sea Fury at DX from what I’d seen is coming on in leaps and bounds. She looks very nice indeed.
