Now I know this may seem a cowards way out…but i’ve got a friend who’s interested in helping me write the stories. I’VE READ ALL ADVICE on this thread and decided the best thing to do is to use it and put it into practice.
Update on stories: Some Random Stuff, nothing to report.
The Good Old Days, added more AC.
Cold War Mk.II Nothing to report. (working on sequal) :diablo:

    See ya guys later.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

AND (its a bit late) A HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO THOSE ACROSS THE POND!

OK Guys, I’ve thought long and hard about it (actually a full eight minutes) and decided to split Some Random Stuff into Two stories, one is about the main characters experiences before touring on the Dwight D Eisenhower. The other is the one thats up at the minute (albeit the Air Combat is A LOT longer) which will be sorted out whenever i get time!

    Hit me with the comments!!

    :Doops sorry!
I haven’t read the story in a while, and just what is wrong with not having modern day jets like the F/A-18 Hornet or the E/A-18 Growler. There all the same aircraft, at least with Carrier Air Wings in the early eighties they had a huge amount of variety. Thats why I have all the old aircraft in, for the variety of it all.

Anywhy, this story is on the back burner, turned down low.

it’s explained in the story why they are fighting over Africa. The reason F-14’s and A-6’s (I don’t think i put A-7’s in it) are in the story is because I hate modern aircraft like the F/A-18.
This Story is at Mk.1 standards it’ll be updated eventually.

    Thanks for the feedback

    I’m Back

:diablo:…briefly, has anyone read Some Random Stuff? I know a couple have, but I haven’t had any feedback for it except for ‘its rubbish’ (i’ll admit it needs a lot of work). So Feedback and pointers for SRS welcome.
CWMK.II just finished eighth page corrections.

Kev35, damn good advice, really it is. Ok, first off the reason it jumps so much is because I haven’t thought of what to put in the gaps, or at least to make it believable.
Big Handbags, that’s going in! 😀

Come back in about two months and it’ll be done, i’ll update regularly (every fortnight or so)

    Keep this Thread going.

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again I AM FOLLOWING ADVICE AND RE-WRITING THE STORIES. Doesn’t anyone want to read a fictional story with real aircraft!

‘Its my imagination, DON’T sqaush it!’ 😡

From 92 to 43 Sqaudron, is everyone ok now with the sqaudron numbers. No one has complained about the 352nd TFW, which is entirely fictious, from my own imagination, hell i could write a complete history of it from 1950-2009.

Ok, its a WHAT IF novel, and what’s wrong with that. Its a fictional setting (i.e. the Cold War turns hot) but moved ahead a couple of years. What’s wrong with changing dates and stuff. 😮
Two F-15’s have just flown over my house, which is a good sign.

I’m improving them gramatically and descriptively, but i’m not changing the setting.
