OK, One squadron that’s out of order and can it be possible that the Cold War went on after 1990, why is it so hard to allow this?
    😡

Now its corrected to read 92 squadron.’

Ok, guys, Work on RAF Bodney has stopped for the time being. Cold War Mk.II is coming along, I was thinking of re-posting it up (its up to mark IIa standards). Any ideas for the story would help. And thanks for the advice, i’m still here and working on them!

For the benefit of all people shall i remove the Random excerpt?
I AM Still going through the stories and re-writing them!!!!
RAF Bodney i’m stuck on as I haven’t got any ideas to fill in the gaps, Cold War Mk.II is progressing slowly, i’ve trimmed it down and removed ALL talk of model aircraft. Which means more Air Combat and stuff.
    😀

I refer to a previous post I didn’t write it! A friend did, it doesn’t have any impact at all, I just left it in there because I thought it was alright. An MP-5 is a sub machine gun. My computer won’t let me type MP-5 it removes the hyphen automatically.

The whole point of the story was grounded in reality, US Navy fighting a war and two pilots get shot down and get caught up in another.

Its just happens!! There’s no reason for it. It was based on the scene in TLK where Simba see’s his dad in the clouds, the only reason my mate wrote it was to try and improve it (By changing it completely):D.

I AM following advice, RAF Bodney and Cold War Mk.II are being re-written, this (Some Random Stuff) is still at Mk.1 stage.

    SIGH!

Read Some Random Stuff and find out all the answers to your questions.

I’m afraid I lost interest very quickly due to the glaring inaccuracies. It wasn’t worth the effort to catalogue the errors, getting the detail right is the your job. By all means cook up fictitious events within an historical framework, but if you lard the story with so many errors it dilutes your impact to the point where there’s not much point ploughing through the text. It looked to me like you’d copied out a chunk of Goodbye Mickey Mouse and attempted to make it different enough by larding it with chunks of Mickey Spillane.

Just out of interest, have you ever seen a compass? “two bandits, four o’ clock, bearing three-seven-zero, sixty one miles,”

I assume your talking about Some Random Stuff, apart from that one compass heading (which is now corrected), what ‘glaring inaccuracies’ are there?

Page thirty one from Some Random Stuff is now posted up here as ‘Above the Rain’. Read it and tell me what you think!

AH-64D Apache flew over East Midlands Airport
Four Westland Lynx’s (two AH.1’s and two AH.9’s) landed at EMA Ramp.

Working on Cold War Mk.II (now Mk.III) re-write (i’ve tightened it up, and cut all the unwanted stuff out) as well as RAF Bodney stories.
Someone please read pages 30-31 in Some Random Stuff just to see how random it is!:o
Oh and the reason for so many one-line gaps in all my stories is because I don’t know what to put in them, hence I said in my very first post, they have gaps!
KEEP the reviews COMING guys, i’m not getting bored of them yet. Did anyone like ANYTHING about the stories? And be honest in the reviews, i don’t care what you say about them.

If anyone is reading Some Random Stuff (SRS) Pages 30-31, i didn’t write it! A friend did, although I read it afterwards and left it in:)

The compass headings should be fine now!
