My hometown of Utrecht is going to change quite fundamentaly in the next 10 years. The hole area around the Central Train Station is going to be changed. So we get a new centrum here. Must be more beautifull then we have now, uglier isn’t possible.

Vindt België wel een leuk land, om er van een afstand naar te kijken dan, en om er te zijn. Het Bourgondische leven druipt er van af, wielrennen me favoriete sport. Vlamingen zijn ook wel aardige mensen, zeker mijn favoriete Vlaming Ben (:D ). Geweldig nummer België zouden ze eigenlijk moeten vertalen in het Engels zodat iedereen hiervan mee kan “genieten”.

You have an interesting point there Ben, I mean that’s probably why we have all those jokes about you ;). But then again the sentiments towards Belguim are more of the symphaty kind then the hostile kind.

In all fairness, we were talking about the development of Antwerp Central Station. They are creating a whole new station within the old one. Very nice, that alone is enough reason to go and visit Antwerp, but I know dozens more. Don’t tell any one I feel like this I supposed to be anti Flemish like a good Dutchman 😀 .

Vind het een mooi voorbeeld hoe je een oud station kan aanpassen aan de nieuwe tijd en het ook nog in kan passen in een oude stad zonder deze te veel te beschadigen. Moet binnenkort weer eens die kant dat, ik hou wel een beetje van Antwerpen.

Antwerp has got one of the most beautiful train stations I know. Last time I was there they were remodelling it, I liked it very much how they, with respect to the old create something for the 21 century.
