To answer the question re whistleblower. No.
But, if some scumball had my kids then I’d sing like a Canary to save them with the hope I could kill the scum later.
In these days of immediate comms, and easy availabilty of world coverage then it’s no suprise that information is out there.

As for the post above me, well…my objection is the pussyfooting around we do. If the baddies are in the mountains, then WHY are there still mountains? War, it’s the only language these anti-westers will ever EVER understand, so we need to talk very loud! Far cheaper in the long run, on the tax bill and the soldiers lives.

    R.E.D.
Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Richard Dreyfuss, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and the bloke that was in charge of the “Programme” responsible for Jason Bourne’s lost memory.
A highly entertaining and humourous spy caper.

Changed all 8 plugs on my car.
I’m a new owner of it (6 months), and I’ve not changed them until today.
It was clear they haven’t been changed for at least 35 maybe 40k miles…but all were in good order, meaning the lump is running well. :):)

But 🙁 I should have changed the HT stubs, they were a bit loose on the insulator of the plug. But they are £10 each…next time. Or, an “O” ring make-n-mend.;)

And a 3 minute exposure facing the opposite way from where I took the bridge shot. Note the plane trails!

What is your opinion wrt long exposures on Digital Camera’s being good or bad? Specifically, long exposures can overheat the sensor and ruin it. Some say it doesn’t.
I have not yet had the courage to do (Like I did in film days) 45mins, 75 min exposures of the night sky.
I have done a 13 minute exposure, on a cold night. It took another 11 mins to write the image to card! (Canon 450)
    Superb shots btw.

The thing is, Ryanair are indeed the most hated airline. And just about everything they do is pikey at best. Having done two flights (Forced because of work budgets) I will never fly with them willingly again.
Only two flights yes, but 1 year apart and to different destinations. Very cheap, but I felt ripped off on behalf of my Company.

    That Roller in T-Birds.
I’ve seen the ????real replica??? in the museum in the Lake district.

When I was a young nipper I dreamt of things to do with Lady Penelope in that Roller.

The wave machines never did get the serious research it need(s)ed.

Like tidal, benefits of Tide are obvious, it happens twice a day…rain or shine, wind or not.
But, all the gubbins and mechanics are underwater, maintenance costs are a nightmare. It would need doing daily, seeweed and other bits would need clearing from the kit, or from the filters of the kit.
Maybe wave kit/machines are also difficult to maintain too.
Osmosis power never got alook in either, exploiting the saline sea vs fresh water in a large tube with a membrane bottom. The pressures or the vacuum created can be immense, ergo energy.
I like windfarms, they are hypnotically beautiful and a darn site prettier than pylons.
