    TFC has not said if BE is going back but the empennage was removed not long after legends and the tail was sent back to the US. Hopefully it will stay for a while because i imagine they would have shipped the whole aircraft back already if not, rather than waiting for the tail to be fixed. Miss Velma was sent to the US for repairs too.

    Yes very well said. IMO red 11 looks excellent, i can’t wait to see it flying next year – especially if RG displays this like he does G-CBEL!

    mabel is a beautiful aircraft. Im glad its been bought by anglia aircraft restorations since it didn’t seem to get out much before. Im local to BH and the only spitfires I see flying regularly from there are MJ627 and MT818. Now if only EP122 would move to Duxford as well…

    It’ll be great to see pl983. Before its tragic accident it was based at a tiny airstrip only about 1km from where i live.

    They have XX453 and XX449 which are dark blue apart from the top which is white
