If I’m not completely lost, I think it’s possible that that particular photo was taken during Exercise Snow Falcon in Bardufoss during January/February this year.

Some of my own photos from Exercise Joint Winter 2004 in March, featuring Finnish Mi-8s; RNoAF F-16AM2s and RNoAF Bell 412SPs conducting operations over an arctic, simulated battlefield.

How about this movie? The file size is 146 Mb, but it’s worth the download time, especially if you’re the happy owner of a fast broadband connection.

also, i think i saw a Mig-29 outmaneouvering the F-15? about a fraction of a second? (the Mig going vertical while the F-15 was going down?)

I think the aircraft you’re referring to was another F-15C.
