[QUOTE=Flanker_man;2019617]Great link Statosuarus – thanks for sharing.
They are doing their best – with limited resources.
There are new hangars built to house the early artifacts and the reception area (the blue-roofed buildings in the background).
There are also ‘volunteer’ teams doing some work re-spraying some of the exhibits (although not always in authentic colours)
I last visited in August 2012 – my photo report is here.
They have received some new exhibits from the Gagarin Academy next door – Tu-22M3, Tu-95MS, Il-76, Su-27, Su-25, Su-24 – see if you can spot them.
Ken
PS – I made this ‘panorama’ from the steps of the Tu-144 …….
My pleasure Flanker_man. I know your “russian tours” over the past years and your great potos and informative site. Also your fabulous model kits. Thank you for your work. Nice “panorama” by the way. (Sorry my non good english)… 🙂

Doesn’t have to be Siberia, drive 40 minutes out of Moscow and you can see those kind of forests ;).
Btw, congrats on smashing Italy.
Thanks for the comment TR1 (207 visits and a single comment… where are the “aviation enthousiasts”?)
See you at Brazil 2.014…:)
Meanwhile, in Russia:
Like another part of the world with strong winds and planes bad secured. Usually Su-24 has no problems with the gravity center. I remember for example a curious video of a Boeing B-747 “danzing with the wind”.
Russian photo was dated 15-03-2005. Long time ago.
Just a minor point of clearification, the FC-2 is a civil aircraft, not U.S. Army.
Also, the close-up of the bomber shows the markings of the 436th Bomb Squadron, part of the 7th BG.
Thanks for the point J Boyle. 🙂
The twin engine bomber is a Keystone B-3,4 or 5
The aircraft with the folding wings is a Fairchild FC-2
The flying boat is a Douglas C-21 and maybe a C-26
The single engine biplane is a Thomas-Morse O-19CChris
Thank you so much for your help Chirs. Much appreciated.
Regards from Spain.
Good detail you observed 43-2195. Thanks for the info.
Pagen 01 I see the album. Not deleted.

Daddy my friends in the school are not thought that your you are super-secret military helicopter pilot, you could do something to demonstrate it? :diablo:
Does anyone knows what with that H-6 around ??? Either its a psed photo or a strage testbed with features from the older types (tail, no or at least small radar) as well as the latest K-model (engine exhausts seem to be larger, 6 pylons, …) and is that an IFR-probe ???
Honestly I don’t know ! Even if I would also tend to say that’s PSED, I think if yes, then it’s quite nicely done especially on such a blurred photo and the number 090 fits nicely into the line of testbeds/prototypes.
Deino
Unfortunatelly is fake Deino. One of my blog visitors send to me the original photo from chinese INTERNET.
