pakistani Hinds…
Only one. Defected from Afghanistan.
Perhaps yo´re right. Today the EW environment is more complex than 1991 when the Usa AWACS “directed” the air war after the Kuwait invasion. I think that role of the russian and the american Awacs today is not only “fighters ATC”, but perhaps is time passed over. Now is time for UAVS and UCAVS, B-2, and some else, not for aircraft with 13-20 or more people on board.
Iraqi MiG-15UTIs over Basra
😮 😮 Superb shot 😮 😮 sainz. Very thank you for share.
It seems overflight the Shatt-el-Arab Channel (as the photo says 😉 )
Cheers.
The main problem is that the AWACS are used to make the US and NATO mobile so they can fight anywhere, whereas the Russians view AWACs as a gap filler in their radar network. With their reduction in territory they don’t need gap fillers like they used to.
This is not exactly. For example the A-50 was very active near turkish borders monitoring the Usa strikes against Irak. And collect a lot of info and test is own capabilities.
Dont worry mate, a lot of “oficial pictures” remains.
Regards.

Regarding the MiG-23, according to http://www.milavia.net/airforces/belarus/belarus_pictorial.htm they are not operational. It’s a non-official site though.
Perhaps yu´re right. But the Floggers on the pics seems in good state, not only fresh painted. Look at seats, wheels, pitots carefully covered, etc.
Btw, very nice photos also on your link. Thanks.
If these pictures keep coming I will get a heart attack, seriously.
Take medicaments close, mate… and stay tunned 😉

😮 Woow 😮 I never see before. Very thank you for the pic.
Very interesting photos!Thank you a lot!
I found very interesting especially that they have a Mig-29 on alert with its missiles covered.I was always of the opinion that missiles are stored nearby as the weather conditions affect them.
Another interesting note is the fixed refuelling probe on Mig-29.
The Mig-29 on alert have red covers on the missiles.
I´m glad you like the photos.
Regards.
What about the Maxdome? Anyone got any information in it? Was there only 3 built?
Does anyone have more pictures of it other than those 2 Airlines.net links?
