Whizzing Stars….

Keep those stories coming, they just show that our concept of reality is rather limited. There are things out there that defy rational explanation. Here’s another one that was told too me by one of the customers who came too the radio and tv shop, where I once worked. This incident also took place in Harefield back in the 70s. Apparently this lady was awoken one night by a noise coming from outside her bedroom window in the early hours. She got out of bed and pulled back the curtains, and did she get a shock. As she looked down at the garden she saw lots of Stars whizzing around in a circle above the grass. She watched this for a short while, and became so excited at seeing such an unusual sight, she shouted at her husband to see the display. However he was fast asleep, so she left the window to give him a shove too wake him up. After some persuasion he went over too the window, however by then the stars had disappeared. 😮

Monster Crane…

I can’t remember that far back, however I do remember watching a large Crane on a building site, where some bungalows were being built.
I had a good view from the kitchen window, and can remember how frightened I felt at the sight of such a huge thing. The bungalows were being built not far from the garden, so it’s not surprising I felt scared. Too me the Crane seemed like a monster. 😀

Sammy go South.

This is another 60’s film which made an impression on me in my younger days. I can’t remember much about it, but I do remember it taking place in the middle east. It’s the story of a young boy who runs away from home , his parents are killed in an airstrike which destroys their home. It becomes an adventure for him as he goes south in search of his relatives. This film looked great on the widescreen. 🙂

An experience I will never forget.

Ok then here’s another interesting experience from my teenage years. The house I lived in back in the early 70s was built in the 1900s. I must have been around 16 years old then, and my hobby was Amateur radio. I would spend lots of time listening too my home made shortwave Radio, which I built from a kit.
The room I used was the front room, and the path leading up to the house from the garden gate, passed the front room window. So anyone walking along it would be able too see me if I were listening too my Radio, as there were no net curtains. One day my mate came over too see what I was up too, however he didn’t make himself known, and I didn’t notice him from the front room. When we met up later he told me, he didn’t want too disturb me as he could see I was busy, with my father sitting next too me. This gave me quite a surprise because my Father had died a few days earlier.
Eventually my Mother and I had too move house because we found out it had dry rot. In the process of moving the Furniture etc ( my mate was giving me a hand) he had a horrible experience while looking up the stairs. He shot out of the house rapidly, saying he didn’t want too go back in. He then told me he sensed he was being watched by something not very pleasant, which made him feel scared. He never went back in there again. This is a true story…

Out of Body….

Psychologists think that an out of body experience, is what happens too the mind when it loses sense of reality, and they assume it’s the mind playing tricks. From my experience I can’t agree with that, because what happened too me seemed far too real . One night I decided too go for an out of body experience, which I started by using my imagination, too visualise my soul rising up from my body. Lying in bed in a very relaxed state and visualising, I started too hear a loud noise in my Head, which was a buzzing noise. Then my whole body felt llike it was vibrating, a very strange experience.
My eyes were closed, then I visualised my body naked crawling on the floor of a small room, which was dark. At one end there was a small hole with a very bright light coming through. I felt a strong urge too crawl too the light and force my way through the small hole. After a lot of effort I finally managed too do it, which was very hard going. All this time I am in two states of awareness, one is myself on the bed, the other is in the OBE. I was switching between both states randomly. Anyhow in the OBE state I can see still photo type images of faces in silouette, they are constantly changing, I don’t recognise them. Then A fantastic vision appears, showing the inside of a huge palace in beautiful colour, an amazing sight . Then I become aware of soldiers standing in this Palace wearing green uniform, not camoflage, and no weapons. Then I realise I can move between them , so the image is 3 dimensional, this really surprised me. Anyhow it all suddenly stopped and there I am back too reality lying in bed , my heart was going like crazy. Forgot too mention while I was moving between the two states my legs and feet felt like they were floating, a wonderful feeling too experience. The start of this was very scary, and I have not tried it since. :diablo:

Huge Black UFO.

A Policeman once told me of a weird experience he had while parked up in his Patrol car in Harefield. He was on duty and it was in the early morning about 02.00. Harefield is a small village surrounded by countryside, and where he was parked he had a good view of the Stars in the dark sky. While he was looking up he noticed a very large round object moving silently above where he was parked. It was blotting out the Stars as it moved across the Sky. There were no lights, it was just a huge black round object. He lost sight of it as it moved further away. He told me the size of it was enormous, which spooked him. 😮

Another existence…

Ok then her’s another true experience that a colleague at work told me about.
Back in the late 60s this chap accidentally found a way too experience another existence elsewhere. What he did was drink a Beer and after a while go too bed, where he would go into a strange sleep. He would then find himself in a Forest, standing in a clearing at night. Then a strong wind would come and blow him off the ground into the air. He would then find himself soaring upwards into the sky, then looking down he could see the Earth below. He described the view just like you would see from a satellite. Anyway eventually he would start too descend arriving at a place similar too a small Town. There were Cars, Buses and all the usual stuff, however he described the design of the vehicles as slightly different too ours. He would take a train to the seaside, and later return back to the town, then think of returning back too reality which he did. He would wake up in bed, and that was it for that night. He would continue too do this for some months, until on the last occasion he suddenly felt himself ascending into the sky against his wishes. Anyhow he once again wished too be returned back to reality, finding he coudn’t get the process too work. Feeling very worried he kept trying, then he realised something else was trying too take him somewhere else. By now very scared he made a last effort too return which he succesfully did. He awoke in bed , and this time he was sweating profusely and his heart was going like the clappers. Anyhow lying there feeling relieved too have made it back, he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder, he freeked out and ran out of the room. Since that time he has never tried it again. This is a true story believe it or not. 😮

Logans run…

Logans run was another Film I saw at the Widescreen Cinema, memorable because of the Euthanasia program, where old people jumped too their death.
That must have been the first Sci Fi Film that I saw at the Cinema. 🙂
