I’m 100% sure, the T-50-4 comes out in first or second quarter next year.
In Sukhoi own news site, it state the T-50-4 are beeing assembled and will fly in 2012.
Source please? Because I didn’t read at any source for its gonna fly in 2012…
According the source “without specifying when is expected to start flying the prototype test aircraft, at the present time the company completes the fourth sample of PAK FA” and “Assembling the fourth sample is in the final phase. Now comes the testing of design” so its probably the ground system checks. In my opinion if everything goes on the way it may fly also before the new year…
Should we see the forth prototype in air before 2012, Are the works going according to it? Waiting for T50-3 to take skies nearest time and for the pictures π
Bogdan was at controls today
Vooow, not much left for the good news then π
The third flight model T-50 is almost ready to take off
October 27, AVIA.RU – Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Industrial Association (KnAAPO) completes the preparation for flight tests of the third sample the fifth generation fighter T-50 (PAK FA), according to RIA Novosti , citing a source in the military-industrial complex.
“Preparatory work is completed on the third flight model of the fifth generation fighter. He is almost ready to climb into the sky. It remains to work out of an airplane. He will take off, when engineers are fully confident in the product” – the source said, without specifying in what time frame is expected to start flying the prototype test aircraft, but added that at the present time the company completes the fourth sample PAK FA.
“Assembling the fourth sample is in the final phase. Now comes the testing of design” – added the official.
Source reminded of an incident at MAKS-2011, when, in August the aircraft for technical reasons, stopped off, throwing the drag chute. As the cause of the incident media called “the failure of the power plant automation. “The incident at the air show had no effect on the course of test aircraft. It was working, technical issue that could occur during testing of any aircraft. In terms of gaps in the airline there, everything goes as planned,” – said the source.
The Russian fifth generation fighter T-50 (PAK FA) must be received by the Air Force in 2016. Flight tests took place only two samples of the PAK FA.
RIP
Thanks, it was an informative answer π
Flateric do you have any comment on LMFS project? As we talked before is it a no money no new fighter situation or is there any light for this fighter?
Sorry by the off-topic, but, there is some mews on the PAK-DA?
According to latest news, lead developer can be changed from Tupolev to Sukhoi because of its larger people resources and technological advance. Maybe in 2030s there will only one aircraft manufacturer in Russia:rolleyes:
They have the opportunity to take the lead in UAV, PAK-FA is in all likelihood the last manned fighter anyway, kind of sad to see the end of an era
Are you sure about 6th gen. fighters gonna be the pilotless birds? I don’t think so, technology didn’t reach that maturity yet! Probably they gonna be very simple targets for the pilots especially at dogfights…
any link?
Its in the Combat Aircraft magazine sorry, there is a preview at zinio.com but it doesn’t contain it!
According to Combat Aircraft magazine LMFS project at the final desicion has been dropped off from the state support list of 2011-2020 strategic development of aviation. It means no new light weight fighter for Ruaf at least 10-15 years. But what about the future of the Mig corporation?
According to Eurofighter consortium’s presentation at the Seul Airshow, Turkey and Brazil can cooperate at a fighter jet program after 2025?

After PKK’s coordinated attack on 8 main bases & locations in Hakkari, Cukurca province on 19 October which caused 24 KIA and 18 wounded, Turkish Armed Forces started entering Norhern Iraq with a task force consisting of 22 battalions of Special Forces (OKK), Gendarmerie Special Operations Forces (JOH) and commando units, under support of the fighters from Turkish Air Force 2nd Air Force Command and artillery units close to Turkish – Iraqi border line.
Hope they gives a big unforgettable punch to the PKK! Its a world known, accepted terrorist organisation but most of the western media calls to the terrorists as seperatists, maybe this contradiction helps people to understand the real situation!!!:diablo:
RIP.
TΓΌm askerlerimize Allah Rahmet eylesin…
seems to be worse than with 50-2
it did fly more than once since RTF
Ok, thanks flateric π Hope both of them takes to the skies in the nearest time together with more advanced prototypes…
what the connection do you see between FADEC sensor failure on T50-2 and T50-1 non-flying?
I asked two seperate questions first question is about the situation of the T 50-1 and the second one why the T 50-2 only flied once after the engine failure, are there still some problems about the engine?
