How do you work that out? he was a professional, and a superbly gifted one at that, he hardly diced with death because he knew what he was doing and he knew how to handle everything he encountered, if it was you or I eyeballing a croc or a snake etc then fair point, but this chap was different 🙁
Well he did once dangle his one month old son infront of a croc, you call that ‘professional’. Okay he knew what he was doing but there was still that danger, an unpredictable croc or a snake could have had him. If I remember rightly he did a few times get bitten by a snake. So my point even if he knew his crocs, does that give him the right to stand 6 ft away frm them enticing them to jump towards him?

I think there would be a way of taking off the door, maybe with special equipment. Lucky he manged to get back in or if not the F/O would have been stuck inside the cockpit even if he had resorted to landing on his own
