I can understand why they would want to give Australian nationals priority, but excluding relatives of British victims altogether seems a bit churlish.

“Churlish” I’d call it disgusting Moggy.:(

More research needed – you’re very wide of the mark ! Yes, we are fortunate that you entered WW2 when you did, in response to a declaration by Germany and a first strike by Japan. Otherwise we might not have had the benefit of your expertise until perhaps 1944 – shades of the 14-18 conflict !

Orders and purchases of war material kick started an American economy that was severely in the doldrums – Roosevelts New Deal apart. Before the US sold a single round of ammunition to this country we had to pay – up front. The Us Govt. sent a warship to Capetown to remove some of our gold reserves as payment for goods.

Britain was the biggest foreign investor in the US prior to WW2. You distrained on those assets. Just a few years ago, we paid you the last of the ‘pounds of flesh’ in final settlement of our war debt.

    Yes, you’re some ally.

At last someone who can see through that Lend Lease ******** and realise that it was the biggest ripoff any country has imposed on a so called ally, it’s main purpose was to strip the UK of it’s assets world wide, which it did.

The Brimstone is a derivative of the Hellfire missile . It’s designed to take out vehicles and it does very accurately.

As to radicalised youth – the simple answer is for ISIS to lay down their weapons and surrender. That would end the recruitment.

I cannot see that happening so we will have to bomb them until they do.

Personally I think the cluster bomb would be my weapon of choice, but then again I don’t give crap about collateral damage.
