Hi
Just been on the phone to Chris who’s just got back from the Mustang
gathering in the states, he was over there with TFC & Twighlight Tear,
He got talking to some of the Lanc ground crew and they said that it’s
coming over in the spring for filming the new Dambusters movie, now it
might just be a windup (you know what these B&ggers are like) but you
can hope, oh and Fluffy you might get a call from the Canadians something
about tail wheel shimmy on a Lanc.:D
Regards Phil.

No Sov influence – Wilson spent on Chevaline, Callaghan ordered Trident C-3.
So it’s just a coincidence that people in MI-5 thought that Wilson and most of his Goverment at the time were KGB along with Roger Hollis head of MI-5.
Wilson made sure that all the jigs were destroyed, so that it couldn’t be resurrected by another Goverment, they might just have well let the Red Army in to destroy it, they could not have done a better job:D . Now I base
my comments on what I’ve read over the years about Soviet influence in the Labour Party, I might be right, I might be wrong. What do you base your comment on.:D
Regards Phil.
The larger drawings are clearly 4000lb and 8000lb ‘cookie’ HC (high capacity) bombs.
The first use of the 4000lb was in April 1941 and the first use of the 8000lb was in September 1942.
Hope this helps.
So they are world war two then, thanks.
Phil.
Now,if it was a FW190 back there flying a little higher… 😀
Awesome photos. 🙂 Gives context to “the loneliest guy…back there somewhere”.
Will a Hurricane do, taken by mi lad a couple of years back:D

I like this Halifax pic, having a little jolly low down in 43 at Elvington:D
God this is complicated and all for just four pieces of copper
Just three pieces of copper. you realy need to get a grip
Another one from me.
Somebody’s not paying attention, do wake up at the back:D
Wow – this is going to be a hard decision as the quality and range of pics is very high. I might need to call on the support of our illustrious and respected moderators to help with the final decision!! 😉
Don’t ask Moggy, i’ve heard dosen’t DO pictures:D
A plain old simple ground side view of everybody’s favourite Spitfire, MH434, taken at the DX show a couple of weeks back – minus a little bit of offending Cub care of PSP.
Mark
Nice pic Mark, is that the old “camera on a pole trick”. 😀
Phil.
B-2 Stealth Bomber, why people drool over it at Airshows is beyond me, even
when it does a low pass at 500ft it’s boring:rolleyes:
phil.
I like the moody lighting at Hendon too. Am I really alone in this?
Moggy
YES:diablo:
