The fact every time I do 1 thing off my to-do list in Outlook, someone adds 2 more things! I’ve got nowhere today! 🙁

The JP was originally designed and built by Hunting-Percival. Sticking with the Percival theme, here’s a Prentice:

…a few fairly irrelevent non-airlines such as Air Comet, FlyGlobespan, XL, Viking etc.
Words fail me at this point. How you can call an airline “irrelevant” is beyond me. Maybe you should speak to the passengers who had, or were due to, fly with those airlines!
You point is taken, however if I have no baggage, I’ve checked in online and I’m not going to buy any drinks or snacks on board, why should I pay for those facilities?
Clearly you have. Her character’s name was Samantha Stewart.

This is a prime example of the “wrong” attitude to take, and completely justifies Skymonster’s point that people probably don’t actually like flying with them, instead they simply tollerate it only to get the cheap fares!
Actually, I prefer flying with Ryanair. I’m 6ft 2 and I have much more legroom on a Ryanair B738 than a comparable Hapag Lloyd or Thomson aircraft. Similarly more legroom than on a BAW A319/320/321 and B763/B744, having flown on them all!
I’m not too keen on my attitude being called “wrong”, I would say the over-inflation of airfares by most carriers wrong, and Ryanair and O’Leary were able to spot this and create themselves a niche market in which no other airline is able to compete.
Cabin and flight deck crews know exactly what they’re signing up for, yet they still do it! If BA (Or BMI, the airline with whom I last did the flight) were to offer £20 flights from Manchester to Heathrow, there would be somewhat more than 5 pax on the A320! I don’t see why it costs £60 to fly MAN-LHR, but I suppose it’s still cheaper than £190 on a train!
Edit: I should also point out that Ryanair Cabin Crew are more courteous and friendly than any other that I’ve experienced. They even manage that strange thing called….humour! 😮
And it also proves that it is a matter of convience that you should choose to travel with Ryanair, because if these so-called “cheap” fares were not available, you would not be able to continue to travel as much as you currently do…?
Correct, point?
And winner of tangible link of the day goes to…..me!
That Moth has a Welsh Dragon on the cowl, as does a certain Spitfire, the “Dragon Spitfire” – That Spitfire displayed at the 2010 Rhyl airshow, as did these two Stearman!

So, errr, Steaman, Wales, Dragon, Spitfire, airshow, wing walkers, orange! feel free to choose your connection 🙂
I don’t think that is in the same livery as the 747s are. Seems to be flat red and white, rather than the nice metallic light silver and dark red on the 747s!
No longer, it seems. Only 1 for preservation and that’s the Cosford example.
