That one.
I have no problems flying Ryanair. I mean, I can fly to Dublin with Aer Lingus, but it’s cost me almost £200 return, Ryanair do it for a tenner.
Bad for the industry? Probably. Good for my wallet? Certainly!
Confessions of a Call girl (V. funny actually)
Is it? I only watch it for Billie Piper! 😮
I still maintain Top Gear is one of the best British entertainment programs going, though I’m quite in to Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother too!

That’s a bit harsh Andy, especially as none of us really know what facts on this one. what’s to say LS haven’t moved all of their booked pax on to MT or ZB, or another carrier who will still be flying?
Chris, we need a good forum flight like the good old times. We’re agreeing far too much these days! 😀
No we don’t… :diablo:

Paul, you may need to sit down for this one…I agree with you. The amount of time I’ve seen cyclists a good 5 or 6 feet from the kerb (Which, let’s face is, is almost in the middle of the road anyway!), doing a good 10mph in a 30 zone, causing massive tailbacks, then when a car overtakes having the audacity to give the V’s to the driver! 😮
Similarly, bikers (I’ll call them that, I have other names for them…) suddenly deciding to cut from the left-hand-side of the road to the middle, so they can turn right, through a line of stationary cars in to a clear lane, causing cars to slam on their brakes, not so much as an apology from the biker!
As for this incident, the biker was far too far out, he had little or no situational awareness as to where the vehicles were and carried on and pulled further away from the kerb without looking for traffic. When he did then look for traffic he didn’t bother to adjust his road position for the vehicles turning! I’ll do that when I’m next in a car, see what happens when the vehicle behind me is suddenly in my wheelarch!
As for banging on the side of the van, that’s road rage and is not only damn rude, but exactly the same as if he were to go and punch a pedestrian for stepping out without looking!
For too long bikers have assumed they rule the road, just because they’re smaller and more easily harmed. We live in a nanny state, which means the prosecutors will always side with the biker, same as female drivers against male drivers! Maybe bikers should wear helmet mounted cameras, but I’m going to fit a few to my car and send them to the police each and every time a biker breaks the Highway Code! (I already do it with drivers from my phone, do why not bikers)
Anyway, rant over, Paul you can stand up again now 😉

Et tu, Chris….nice selection of de Havillands…. apart from the odd Antonov the Bulldog and the Miles, of course….! 🙂
I tried to keep it period, there were some far too new looking gliders around the corner, couldn’t hide the An-2 though! 😛
Sticking with competition numbers…
