Could it be that it is load testing of the pylons with the larger tanks maybe ?
think its something to do with the amount of posts /threads you created, Or an insight into our path beyond the mortal realm ?
nobody else ?
Gray Eagles would be a good film, fantastic story.
but i would have to say Warbirds by Richard Herman for me an excellent book. The mounts are F4’s and although its not historic yet it soon will be, all them soon to be ritired airframes just ripe fo rfilming
Amaxing pics, especially like the seaking /chinook , lynx/seaking shots.
Nice to see the Fury back up.
And here are the rest. There was quite an extensive trickle of water below that open cocpit window, sorry they arent very big but i cant seem get them larger it says file to large. Anyone wants a copy pm me

trying to get these up as big as possible heres the first anyways.
It is apparent from these anyway the level of decay that has set in.
Also i would like to point out that there were quite a few (10+) people there taking photo’s while i was there.
i’ll take the camera then, post them later today or tommorow
The Blackpool Vulcan is well known to many, and not just aviation enthusaists. Blackpool council ought to take it over or the airport owners and do something about it. Its become a land mark over the years but is rapidly falling apart.
Maybe it could be stripped painted and taken off the gear and be put on a stick at an angle to at least let the water run off ? A sad sad state of affairs.
Everytime i go to Blackpool i go look at her thinking it will be the last time …………….. as i will do tommorow on way back home from taking the kids there.
A number of the F3’s are starting to be seen out and about and mentioned in service at Leuchars or stored upgraded at St Athan.
Not an ex italian bird but of note is that ZG796 (WC) is to be put on display there.(leuchars)
Isnt there a Dinky model of it as well ? sure my father has one ?
seen a picture in this months aircraft illustrated (sorry key publishing) of F22 undergoing similar ecm and electromagnetic tests in a special housing not like this.
Come on guys you never let me down before………………….
ECM testing ? countermeasure or counter-countermeasure ? surely that would be done airborne ?
Where did those harriers go ? anybody know ?
Dave, that sounds like a John Nichol book plot ? (yes i did buy them ) no accounting for taste. In my defense that was before i met him though
