I don’t have a too deep insight into Russian Aviation industry but I still think that one/two healthy corporations like UAC are much better than a large number of isolated design bureaus aided by a series of KnAAPO/IAPO/NAPO/XXAPO production plants battling for orders by each one introducing their own version of Su-30KNDG and Su-35MHRW, all too cash-stripped to deliver on schedule and on budget.

Could be. Funny that all what you mention are Sukhoi’s projects/factories.

Whats so bad about the Pogo guy? I have never heard bad things before about him and am curious as to why you doubt him so much.

First of all I must say he is a good manager and very good advertiser. Also Pogo guy like to take budget money for promisses like “several Su-35 in 2006” or “12 RRJ will be sold already in 2008”. After that he says “it wasn’t enough money” and takes more with a result not always different from zero. Lets say that “mr. Pogo” not very liked person in the Russian aviation industry not only because of it. But also for weakening of Tupolev corporation and cancellation their Tu-334 and destruction of MiG corporation with their 1.42 (now we can see that the result was not only 1.42 cancellation) and much more.

Do you really believe such carnage is justified by the firing of a few rockets?

A few hundreds rockets you wanted to say. Just a day before the war started there were 80 launches.

As far as the so called truce goes, every one with half a brain knows that Israel had imposed a harsh blockade, carried out numerous bombings and “targeted killings”. 40 Palestinians were killed during the “truce” for the loss of 0 Jews…..so who was breaking the ceasefire most?

Well – no comments: there are no trues in every sentens. Even HAMAS TV lied less about the “truce”.

Some forget that the calm or truce has been under a harsh blockade on the population of Gaza is usually the act of war, Israel does not want to change that the whole world has changed. It is holding the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip a large ghetto, they have to be nice like children .

Some forget, that “blockade” (what a propaganda BS btw – 30 trucks of food a day only from Israel – its not blokade, plus free electricity, gas and water – poor HAMAS) was applied only after HAMAS launched rockets and sended suicide bombers to Israel.

This strange logic, because they – the citizens of Gaza civilians – right to choose their leaders to them ,they punished for their choice of Hamas, by excessive force and weapons of mass wide.;)

If modern mass-media were exist 60 years ago, allies were never won WWII. According to your logic, allies should to stop violence immediately after Hitler occupied almost all Europe?

UN: One-third of Gaza dead, injured are children
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090109/ap_on_re_mi_ea/un_un_gaza_humanitarian_toll

“according to statistics from Gaza’s health ministry.”

You can divide by ten if no more. So far 90% of video or photo “evidence” by HAMAS of children death are fake. Especally cinical was use of the photo of Ashura ceremony like this:
    http://www.foxnews.com/photoessay/photoessay_6213_images/0107091746_M_ashura3_350.jpg
Happy dad cut his boy head. HAMAS used those images as a prove for UN.

No planes and ships can go in or out. It’s blockade. Even vegetables for export cannot cross the border. This all before the fighting started. Looks like a strangulation of the economy.

Interesting when you think the fighting started. And if you want to destroy another country – be prepare to consequences.

World War 2 ended … 63 years ago. If the Jews want to re-live WW2, ask Hezbollah for some advice. Hezbollah has re-built its inventory of rockets to 42,000 since the 2006 war to help Israel walk down memory lane.

Yeah, yeah, yeah… And thats why Nasralla just barking from his hole, like Saddam and his ministry of defence.

They also have international airport and port. And right to choose their leaders. They choosed HAMAS, well, they should not be surprized that their destiny will be like the destiny of the Germans that choosed Hitler and joined SS.
If history teachs nothing their sponsors and defenders it will teach them.

In the case of religion, you are wrong. Jews are definitely NOT a religion.. Jewish people and the religion of Judaism are strongly interrelated but you cannot put a = between those two terms.

The Jewish people and the religion of Judaism are strongly interrelated, and converts to Judaism have been absorbed into the Jewish community throughout the millennia.

Non is surprised to learn that Gaza is cut from South by a push into the direction of former Netzarim, by the way not densely popuplated.
See at Google Earth: 31°28’04 North and 34°25’36 East.

Its already cut on three parts.

Israeli dissident analytic writes that IDF op in Gaza is already stuck, Israelis are bogged down, and basically that’s the end of the war: http://samsonblinded.org/news/israeli-attack-on-gaza-loses-momentum-5424

And what he writes now? 😉
