Money…and the possibility that outlawing them might lead to a re-examination on the legality of all the police security cameras (isn’t the UK the woulds most officially watched nation?).

Regardless of whether the cameras are legal or accurate, they’ll stay to preserve the status quo.

Money, yes. Imagine having to refund all the fines. Unpick all the incorrect insurance hikes due to having points. No way would a Judge and his Mags. allow it to happen, they’ll be “Got at”.

Yes, we are officially the most watched nation. As a law abider, I don’t actually mind. I have no reason to deny where I am, no reason to stay hidden…so I’m not exactly sure which of my civil liberties are being infringed upon by appearing on CCTV’s all over the place.

Post 33 “…..Everyone was kerb crawling”. As if that was a bad thing in the snow? The statement is anti kerb crawling, and complaining about journey time.

Post 52 “…not mega fast but not taking the p… either”. Is clearly stating that driving too slow is taking the P. Especially given the sentiment of the initial remark.

Safe driving, in the snow…ney untreated roads with snow….is SLOW. Surely there can be no alternative answer?

The one thing no-one here has mentioned yet, all being too eager to jump on the bandwagon because this woman is a bit on the lardy side, is the fact she was told twice by the airline when she made the booking that there wouldn’t be a problem. They were happy to take her money initially and then try and get more out of her on the day. She has every right to be annoyed. She should have been told to buy two seats in the first place as she clearly told them she was a bit on the huge side.

I really wish more people would sit back and analyse a situation instead of making a rash judgement.

I only read what’s put on here. Not worth researching about unimportant lardy types. So, she has a genuine beef then. If she was told twice “No problem” then she is obviously used to having problems and asked about it. ergo, she should have it in writing and her case is won.

But, I too object to being limited to a luggage allowance and having some great lump of New York fat blocking the aisle seat.

Just watched “Bolt”, brilliant. But not good enough to return Disney to the top. Dreamworks still makes the best “Cartoons” or whatever they are called now they are digi.
Saw “Igor” too. Not so good. It’s an MGM cartoon.
