    I think you misunderstood me.

A Jaguar, a pilot, a girlie…..and you (as opposed to the pilot) score! 😉

Your god status still in effect! 😀

I’m sure the pilot did to. She was careless with her affections, but good at it.

At 7000 bucks, it has to be cheaper and less stressful than the real thing. 😀

As someone said, “If it has **** or wheels you’re better off renting”

4 stars!! This means I can serve burgers on my own! (It was Ti** by the way)

Does it get ratty and unpredictable once a month?

Present wife has none of that.
Previous one was like dealing with unstable Semtex, near an oven.
One before that, I don’t remember.

So, Jaguar, pilot, girlie…..and you score! 😮

You are my new god! 😀

(And that ‘pilot’ should be drummed-out of whatever chicken**** outfit he claimed to ‘fly’ for!)

I’m not a pilot. I did about 35 hours in a Chipmunk whilst in the ATC, but that’s it. God status demoted to John Lennon.

A link to the movements list, to stop cribbers and cheats?

Or would that break some freedom of info. rules?

I was slightly wrong, it is 1375kg, not 1500kg per engine.

    CF6-80C2B7F = 9,790lb Dry
    http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgMakeModel.nsf/0/b0…

    GEnx-1B67 = 12,822lb Dry
    http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgMakeModel.nsf/0/77…

    = 3,032lb or 1375kg

It does seem a big difference.

Weight isn’t the issue (Well obviously it is in all aviation but not in the case of the 747 and a GenX)
The Fan in the CF6 is about 87 inches dia. The GenX and the future RR for the A350 and so on is about 126 inches diameter. 20 inches on the Radius doesn’t seem much but the inboards are so close to the tarmac (And dust/dirt etc.) that the wing would need to be a different shape entirely. Hence we are getting more of the gull wing, eg A380/ 787. Not only does this lift the lump off the ground a bit, but the very shape means massive computer aided design assistance on the load lines and aerolines to get a big improvement in drag / efficiency. The A380 needed that shape to keep the span down too.

Was he the foil to Terry Thomas?

I also thought he was in “Carry on Sergeant”, which I enjoyed this afternoon on TV.

    RIP.
