    Subject matter: Swearing in comedy.
If the topic/joke/story is funny then the swearing is perfectly acceptable. Big Yin is a prime example, he is one of the finest comedians from our shores in the last 50 years.
On tuther hand, Chubby Brown is just crap. Some of his jokes could be actually really good if he only used 1 F word instead of 200. But generally his material is poor and he is only laughed at because of the amount of swearing.
Jim Davidson, saw him on stage 12 years ago and I ached with the laughter. Likewise Jack Dee, but he’s gone off now – he just flips into miserable git mode…Jack, it’s not funny anymore.
Norton, hated that idiot for years.
Cath Tate. Very talented and funny…for the series she did. She was clever enough to finish it after the 6? episodes and forever leave us with the Gran and the bovvered.
Toksy, or anything on the R4 comedy slots are all just superb. RiP Humph!
    P. Kay, yes he does repeat the same genre of stuff. But he is such a great stage performer it will always be good.
Mcintyre. I cannot see one reason why he has been allowed on stage to earn a single penny. Poor material (Usually somebody elses) and poor delivery IMO. And a spoilt little ****.
Jethro. Good material, takes him 10 times too long to deliver it.
Tank Sherman (Or am I his only fan!!) He is one funny guy, with no swearing!

Mod Edit: Oi! Language!! Again!!! (You’re spot-on about McIntyre, though.)

There is an entirely unsubstantiated link between the most passionate MMGW adherents and equally passionate consumers of organic food, generally being lumped together as “tree-huggers”. That might be the connection our friend was alluding to.;)

Tree huggers = ill informed, disturbed, sensationalist, liars, usually PC and therefore adding more credence to the case against them and their idiotic attitude to reality and science)

No, Steve, they wouldn’t think it. It’s obvious enough to know without any doubt whatsoever! 😀

    Paul

    Classic :D:D

Why change to Flygirl? In fact, why were you Plane Space?

My handle respects an E24 BMW 6 series, the E34 5 series and the E32 7 series. All before BMW was Bangled.

Thanks to computer speed, the economy can crash in a lunch-break.

Why oh why oh why oh why did he not do another 200 episodes of Porridge. It’s successor (Going straight) was never as good.
