Strong point right there. I like to admire outstanding military technology, and I have no problem when it kills the enemy for the right reasons. However, I will complain when my country’s military forces is engaged in a war, with no clear objective, and without clear justifications. For me, that is what Afghanistan is all about; there is no clear objective and no exit strategy.

I totall respect your objections, even though it was mainly Australians killed by terrorists at Bali. Terrorism against the west will be overmatched, if that means killing every last one of them, so be it.

In my opinion there is indeed very clear justification, a very clear objective. The exit strategy will be when we have left a nation that isn’t and cannot be run by scum.
(Then we need to take back most of Africa because basically since they kicked us out, just about every nation is fecked).
The Iraq scuffle was even more justified, but the wrong propaganda was used.

Hopefully it will never be necessary to go to war against these countries.

You lost me. Are you trolling or are you just a little on the edge?

1st point. Indeed, it will be a big one.
2nd point, absolutely no troll. Even it’s name was moved to “Secret” level.

Just as your right to ask that question, the freedom to speak out against the war is a core value of Western democracies. I support the international military presence in Afghanistan, but I think your views on the matter are somewhat dead sure.

I feel that terrorists targeting civilians are a plague which must be dealt with, but are they the most important global threat today?

A complete effort against terrorism requires a number of tools, including military force. What can we do to marginalise the sources of radicalisation in order to reduce the terrorist threat in the future?

Yes. (Unless your going down the melted ice cap route) The Nations that are a real threat have actually attended night school and realise that if they start it, they will be finished. North Korea for example. The terrorist supporting nations are a real threat to global harmony and their leaders and kit will be obliterated.

I am dead sure, I’m working on a weapon system so good it’s better than a sexual fantasy.

I recommend that everyone PMs you in future if they have any holiday plans.

I find it hard to comprehend that you ran this search and failed to absorb the information that you were seeking when it’s right under your nose. There’s absolutely no need to start threads when the information’s so very easy to find.

LoL, your “Link” brings no hits at all.

Old Shape, all you had to do was list her posts and you’d have found your answer to both the location question and the fact that she’s posted recently.

    As the Meerkat says, “simples”.

I did such, I saw no thread headed “I’m off” or similar. I wasn’t going to trawl through the lot.

who is “we” and who would force me and how? (Blair, Brown, Bush with the axis of evil ?)

We, are the civilised West. The alliance agin terrorism.
The question about asking ppl to pick sides is rhetorical, forcing a decision to be made. Whenever a view is expressed to protect the civilised world, somebody always assumes that the terrorist has a view worthy of some sort of sympathy. Well, only from their own twisted fanatical followers should that sympathy be from. So, which side do these people pick, their own brotherhood and lifestyle or those who seem to think the west is wrong?

This forum is full of people that compare/discuss/photograph wonderful military aeroplanes and ships etc. and most cannot wait to see next years airshows. The very purpose of these platforms is to wipe out enemy equipment and people in the most efficient way possible. More bang for the buck. Is it correct to admire such outstanding technology and then complain when it kills the enemy?

BTW, Bush and Blair were a better pair than the present pathetic and cowardly idiots. However, they are all bad.

Vista’s “Disk Management” tool (Control Panel: Administrative Tools: Computer Management: Storage: Disk Management) is fairly easy to use for removing and creating partitions (even for external drives), “Swissknife” is a good third party application that has the added benefit of being able to format partitions as FAT32 so that they can be read by Macs or earlier MS operating systems that don’t like NTFS (which is the native format for XP/Vista).

However, given that you’ve got an older drive that’s been sitting around for a while and considering that the cost of larger capacity hard drives is very reasonable (you can get a 1 Tb drive for £55), I’d be more inclined to buy a new hard drive for external storage to reduce the risk of the older one expiring.

Who does them at £55? My £62 was at 7dayshop.
