    That’s great news Steve!! 🙂

What me smile is the lunch I just made oneself 🙂

Pasta cooked in water with nautral lemon extract, oregano then served mixed into a mushroom sauce with quorn style turkey and spring onion 😮

Cut out the middle-man and throw it straight down the bog. A young lad like you needs energy giving foodstuffs, not fad based bi-products for those which lean towards the Sun.

Have you seen any of the research in this field?

    The making of an extremist

That’s an MI5 report which has been whittled down to a Berg of platitudes by non other than the Gruniad. However disgruntled I am with the paper, the report does state that a change of circumstances in the life of the wannabe terrorist is highly likely to change their opinion. This is what I said in that particular post.

If that’s really the case then you shouldn’t even be mentioning it.

    Should you?

I work on dozens of Secret, Classified, UK eyes only, Restricted and and and and. A lot of people on here do. There are Weapon Systems, Infantry Systems, Sea Systems, Air sytems. Many Projects have their very existance as secret. No names have been mentioned, and will not – until it appears on the appropriate interdoofer site.
Warton South side, qinetic, porton down etc. still exist despite this present pinko administration. All they need is a few billion Spondoolies and we can all get back to normal and have an armed force that doesn’t have to rely on the US for the massive amount of kit. Or indeed sell our brains to the US to build an F-35. The StealthHarrierYak.

To be honest, I don’t think that idea will get us very far. Do you see an end to their ideas and future recruitment?

I think it’s important to stay optimistic and never give up, but it’s also wise to be realistic. Despite lasting efforts to fight it, the terrorist threat is something we might have to live with for a long time.

Frankly I do see an end to their ideas.
They will eventually become civilised, have some money, have a Blue Ray and 50 inch TV, drink Coke and eat McCrap. It then dawns on them that they have been drugged by Religious idiots with a chip on their shoulder.

Obviously Osama Bin Liner has all this bling, but his grunts with RPG’s don’t.

Yes, the war on terror is going to be a long one. At least there will be some defence spending, it’s been poor since the Wall came down. Defence spending means research, which means a lot of spin-offs in technology for the commercial world. It also means jobs. The wall coming down has cost the European Aerospace/Defence industry more than 300,000 jobs. The Soviets “Threat” was never a real threat since the pushy-shuvvy of ’62, but it gave both sides an excuse to Arms race and develop some outstanding technology. It also fueled the Space race of course, such a program would never get passed Budget Gate 1 now.

    (a) It’s a good job for twisty undercarriage legs, they will twang back when she yaws up.
    (b) At the angle the picture was taken, it’s a good job the photographer had brown trousers on.

    Exactly on topic.

Aren’t the Swiss people about to vote on banning Minarettes?
The Gov’t objects to the ban, but in Swissy land if you get 100k signatures it becomes a by-law or somesuch.

Anybody familiar with Swiss law to correct / confirm that lot?
