WOOOO…NORTH EAST HAS A THUNDERSTORM…5 miles away from my house 😀 i love thunder and lightning

    Send it down here then!
We’ve had a few spits. Not enough to wet the pavement properly. Grass is still dead.

I love sprouts. Especially since the British Sprout Society changed the strain we eat in UK. Early 90’s IIRC.
They are nice with Garlic. Now that is a wardrobe door slammer if ever there was one!
    I eat most things though.
There has only been 3 things I spat out of my mouth. Petrol, some odd nut that was sprinkled on a salad in Californy, and battery acid.

    So let’s see.

That’s Iran, China….. and now Vietnam.

You’re racking up quite a body count, old shape. 😎

No need, the US racked up a reasonable tally on that one.

(And you forgot Iraq, and anybody that’s agin Israel):)

Disturbing as that is, lets not forget that the Việt cộng would have no hesitation at doing this sort of thing on a daily basis, and far far worse. They did so too.
Let’s not forget how badly the US soldiers, and the few Brits out there were treated. The error of General Nguyễn Ngọc Loan was to be stupid enough to do it on camera.
Yes, we in the West (And therefore our allies) are supposed to rise above such things. But in War, when the bad guys get dirty, so do we.

If the photo was of a Việt cộng killing a handcuffed Brit or American, then we would have been demanding a nuclear strike, even in 1968 when the pinko’s were beginning to win some votes.

On topic, yes, that is more disturbing than a picture of Jacko.

yes, i’m right there with you. 🙂
    “Wien, Wien, nur du allein
Sollst stets die Stadt meiner Träume sein…..” a very old songtext about life in vienna 😉

    did you visit vienna?

Yes, just once. I had a 2 day conference there many years ago. I tried to bunk off and do some sight-seeing but I ended up sat near my CEO!!
One day I shall return, at Christmas time. And perhaps get tickets for the New Years Concert in the Phil. You can stand at the back for 30 Euro or get a decent seat for about 1,000 Euro. The cheap seats sell out years in advance, as do the very expensive ones. The mid range go rapidly too.
