How is the quality of the picture and sound for the box set?

What you’d expect from the era. Basically as good as, if not better than, you’ll have seen watching it on tv.

I have the box set, every series including the ‘lost’ episodes. Sheer quality.

Last proper landy, stage 1 V8. Sorry but a plastic hairdresser wagon with a Jerry-built engine doesn’t count. If it hasn’t got sliding windows it’s not a proper Landy! 😀

Ahhhh, but at least mine is reliable, and it can go in snow and mud, AND it can tow a Victor and……………..too many things to list, and I can drive it all the way up to see you, knowing it will get me home again 😀

Mine is also reliable which, given she’s 40 next year, is no mean feat. But like any old lady, she needs a bit of TLC on occasion. She also manages snow and mud better than most moderns. But I don’t fancy towing 70+ tons of Victor! 😮

Serious now lads, I would give an arm and a leg for just a circuit and bump in a Herc, it’s the only thing in nearly 70 yrs I have ever wanted.Oh, I wish.;)

The speed it travels, by the time your Landy’s got you back home again from a trip up to Yorkshire the Hercs will be long retired!
