As far as I know it’s not in brilliant condition but I did hear a rumour at the weekend that some remedial work and possibly a repaint has been mooted…
Ditto! 😀
Update, 01/05/11
I love the pic of NM doing the Chicken Dance after sliding down the flap! 😀
As has already been said, Sunday was a day of ‘aircraft chess’ rather than engineering. I got across at lunchtime, and Lindy and the Nimrod were already out on the airfield, Lindy on the V-bomber QRA pad just where she should be!
We got stuck in helping to move the museum’s aircraft out of the way for next weekend’s shenanigans. Hunter was first to be shifted
Note a lame duck leaning on the wing for support 😉
Next was the Canberra, after Rich and I had wrestled a very reluctant towbar into place
Lindy looks on from her pad
It appears we have an experimental version of the Canberra, with experimental ‘super-flaps’! 😀
Next out was the Herald, here being piloted by Brian and the trusty tractor
All out, the museum chaps put the fence back after the Nimrod was fuelled. What can’t be seen are members of the Victor crew waiting with buckets, in case of any leaks, so we can fuel our girl…
The aircraft will be out there until next Monday, once the Battlegroup North doings next weekend are done, so there’ll be no update as such next weekend.
You could always put in a good word for Nashio with the recently single one ?:diablo:;):eek::dev2:
Not a good idea, these long distance relationships never work out…! :diablo:

Is the hint at me Blue 2 :)
We could still be on for a Friday delivery, just got to go pick something up from Nottingham first 🙂
And here is the finished kit Benyboy delivered me. Finally done!

Or perhaps 57 Sqn?:diablo:
Aye possible 😀
Either way whoever it was didn’t like ‘El Adem with grass’ or Victors very much on that paticular day!
Well worth a smile that, Ben! 😀

he has gone “stealth”, must have pulled (at long last) – any more forum regulars missing as well ? :diablo:
Mr Marlee has been quiet recently…!
I’m having a little swear as the MG failed MOT. Not a bad fail, just a trackrod end and some suspension bushes, but still 🙁

at least the French have a chance to look up and see (more or less) the shape of a Mossie in the sky now. Unlike those of us this side of the Channel. Good on them I say!
I’ve had to swear as Ali rang me to tell me the Vulcan was doing a practice display at home. And where am I? Bl**dy work… 🙁
Still at least she rang me so I could hear 558 at play! 🙂

Nice work Keith, and some great variety there 🙂
