Hearing the news that a friend and Victor team colleague has, after weeks of uncertainty, successfully managed to avoid becoming yet another victim of government cuts 🙂

It’s one way of keeping us all out of mischief and out of the pub I suppose!

That’s rich coming from you Mr Woods, a chap who actually chooses to go to the south, the land of flat beer, on a regular basis! Mike yes it is true about the, er, permanent nature of our overall wearing. Indeed I mourned when mine had to go through the washer! When this move comes to pass if I can help with disassembly or reassembly I will, and may even be able to con a couple of other Victor-fettlers too. Our wagons are rigged to move things far less interesting than Shacks sadly, so we couldn’t help on that score.

Please Sir! please sir! I’m left handed, so may I swap the overalls and flask hands please?! 😀 And I’m not surprised at the price difference, being in the transport game myself. So roughly when are you looking? Just so’s I can work out if I can come do a bit

Wallace is slightly earlier history than my preferred era to be honest :o. So the Jacobites went down the West side to avoid Yorkshire eh? Clearly afraid of being out-tighted by the experts! 🙂

I thought the idea was to go from photo to photo, as opposed to merely going from aircraft mentioned in a post…?
That is a great Bev photo by the way:)

Before you ask SH, yes you are allowed on board, and I know some of the chaps who moved it in there from the Army Transport Museum, Beverley… 😉
Fort Paull is a decent little museum! Anyway back to the thread, quite how we got from Buchon to Beverley I’m not sure, but…

William Wallace only came as far south as Yorkshire, just so we could show him how to go on in the tightness stakes! :p
