Update, 20/02/2011
Well another busy weekend. The Artouste was, after refitting, found to be leaking oil during last week’s engine runs from the join between the Artouste and the generator so had to come out to be rectified. I landed at about half past 11 to find the guys removing wires, pipes, ancilliaries etc.
I went up top to take the wing top hatch off (again!) for the winch to be fitted to lower the beastie out.
This went without a hitch, and we soon had her down
Lunch was called. After a quick feed it was back to work, stripping the intake trunking and oil pipes off so we could get to the generator’s collar. We soon found the culprit- an O-ring had been nipped. Bad times.

The Artouste was built up again in record time, then after another quick brew to restore circulation to cold paws, we put it back in the wing. Hopefully for the last time for a loooong while!

After another brew we refitted all doors, hatches etc

All buttoned up and done!
All together, a good job well done by the whole team, well done everyone and thanks to the team at Bruntingthorpe for the extended use of their winch.
So we’ll see what Lindy throws at us next…….
