more please! Especially anything Finningley, early 90’s would be nice 🙂
that’ll be the Finningley home team then? 🙂
I suspect not, as RLM colour shades are pre-digital. However it may help with analogue signals… 😉
that looks damn good already! It’d be nice to have that sort of talent…
Thanks Mark12, you just earned me a smack off my better half. She thought I was looking at something other than a perfectly innocent aviation forum thread!
Well it’s all right for you! It bucketed it down from about 12 till about 4ish 🙁
Rich Machine Mart are getting a serious rocket, don’t worry…!
‘model’ Phantom it is then T/O!

😀

Piracy theme developing…!
I go past this Hunter occasionally, and always think she looks well. Nice shots Keith!
Those poor Connies 🙁
Fly Navy!

Well lets keep adding. 🙂
May as well! 🙂

16/01/2011 Update
I won’t ask how much and what debris gathered! 😮
Well, we lost yet another day yesterday. This was partly due to a combination of the weather and difficulties in obtaining some essential fastenings, which I’ve been assured will be appearing this week…
Before lunch Rich and I busied ourselves cleaning the little bits of paint off that had snuck onto the fire wire during our paint-fest of the previous week.
This done we adjourned for lunch. The intention after lunch was to go up top and replace the seals in the access hatches in the top of the starboard wing, as the ones in all the hatches we’ve lifted have long given up doing any vaguely sealing-type task. We now have the correct profile rubber strip, and I was looking forward to getting the hatches weatherproof again.
The weather had other ideas however, and yet again rain stopped play. Damn.
So instead we attempted to help Andre carrying out a skin repair on the Museum’s Dakota, nice and dry in the hangar. This went well until my brand new riveter chose to die. Thankyou Machine Mart, I will be bringing it back and having a frank exchange of views with you…
So all in all, a fairly unsuccessful washout of a day. Hopefully next Sunday we’ll actually achieve something useful…
