Indeed pagen, the Mk 9 and Mk9.A lynx are able to taxi on their wheels rather than hover taxi, its easier to manouver about on wheels as they cant really skid along the floor with skids 🙂

No Scott, as I said there was 3 trundling around in formation, 2 paddling around sedately with underslung loads, and another one flying around but not particularly lively.

Took some shots on my phone, but the quality’s not exactly startling…

Helicopters generally aren’t my thing, so apologies if this is a silly question, but I always thought Navy Lynx had wheels, and Army ones skids. So how come one of these, all of which were in Army markings, had wheels?!

Think I’ll err on the side of caution…
