    mmm a nice high gloss raspberry ripple to compliment the Canberra would look stunning and if I were a betting man is where my money would go.

    Even with the current paint it’s such a beautiful aircraft. It was nice to be able to appreciate it’s shape properly, the only other Comet I’ve seen is Duxford’s example sat in the corner of a crowded hangar.

    Can I attempt to draw the thread away from the Victor colour issue (cos I’m getting sick of the arguing now) by asking what colour scheme’s planned for the Comet? Or is it a secret?!

    What dissapointed me most was the complete un-interest shown in the flying by most of the air cadets there, to see that marvellous spitfire display completly ignored by a gaggle of kids/teenagers in RAF colours seemed such a waste.

    Sad to read, compared to the ATC present at Brunty on sunday who were enthusiastic.
