True, but if there were volunteers willing to say kn@ckers to H&S to try save some aircraft (as I believe has happened before) rather than see them burn, it just wouldn’t be possible with this museum set-up. I think I’d at least want to give it a damn good try if the T2 at Elvington went up in front of my eyes for example…

It’s more a petrolhead thing than a male thing BB- I’ve several female friends who would totally understand, as they certainly qualify as petrolheads themselves 🙂

My personal concern with museums hanging up rare aircraft is there’s no way of attempting to save them in the event of a fire.
