Cheers Ben. New green paint, repainted belly, canopy frame, nose and intakes, made 3 new gear legs as they were all shot, split the nose to put some ballast in, voila!
Word of warning, the SR71’s pretty big from what I remember, a friend had one, and the little drone thingy that goes with it. You’d need a fair old shelf mate…

If I might put my 2 pen’orth in… I think its a good idea to do this program as it will bring home to the people who weren’t there, such as myself, just what the recieving end of bombing is like. Or at least give a taster anyway. It will be far more effective than just remeniscences as, let’s face it, big bangs will always grab the attention of the younger generation far more effectively than what most of that generation would perceive as just ‘an old dear rambling away’. And also it will be more believable than any portrayal Hollywood could provide, so in this CGI dominated age I think it’s a good exercise in bringing history alive. I shall be watching and hopefully learning.

Was going to ask about how the domestic matters were going, but then wasn’t sure I should. Fingers crossed on that one for you too, wish she’d just make her mind up so you know exactly where you stand.
Mine’s subsided to bitter, childish texts now- insulting me’s not going to exactly change much is it?
Still it’s mostly sorted and dealt with, and I suppose I’m free now, so once I’ve got my head round the whole thing it’ll be ok. So hopefully good things will happen this year…
