Looking at that abortion of an engine he’s flogged you I still think I’d make that round trip to extract the pennies from him. With the aid of a big stick if necessary… Don’t think piling a whole heap of negative feedback on him would be anywhere near satisfying enough, the thieving scrote.

    Fine views Brian thanks.
As an aside the nitpicker in me has noticed the truck behind the walking Luftwaffe chap in the film still, looks like an American late WW2 truck !

But why look at that when there’s a perfectly lovely Kubelwagen to look at in the same still?! 😀

Growler- wonderful shots, thankyou for sharing. Shame about the lighting difficulties but think you did a cracking job. Did you get my email by the way?

Christ! I’ve just chucked a 30-odd year old MG cylinder head in far better nick than that. Seriously unlucky mate. I’d be going back to the seller carrying a big stick…

    SHOCK HORROR.

I used an adjustable this very morning.
I needed it to turn a screwdriver, the driver needed my body weight on as somebody had stripped the posidrive out of it, I could just get a grip with a smaller driver and FORCE. Job done, screw replaced.
Most people don’t realise screwdrivers have a spanner Hexagon on the handle.

You could always have bothered to find the proper spanner that fits the hex on the screwdriver instead. Like I bothered to earlier shifting a screw on an MG door.
