Oh b*gger mate! Think you just got a very expensive paperweight there. Can you make one good one out of the two? The head should be ok at least, with a bit of b*ggering about with cleaning up the valves and seats. Can be done if you take time and care trust me! But like you say I wouldn’t rush to trust the bottom end if that’s what you’ve found in the sump…
I don’t use ebay, too afraid of being similarly stung, but have you any form of redress?
Good luck anyway.

Found a stash of useful and free MG parts, and spent a pleasant day in the sun fitting some of them 😀

A bloke on a parachute with the motor off his lawnmower strapped to his @rse is just drifting past my window…
Sorry make that two of them. Silly people.
Will be following progress on this one, best of luck. What’s with the blacked-out cockpit windows, they been painted over as part of its fire training role?
I can vouch for parts of aircraft being buried on purpose. If you go to 40 Hilltop Road, Forres, Moray, and start digging about three feet from the southern gable end, you’ll find a prop blade from Argosy XP439!
Now who left that there….?!
 Sort of a non-arguement really Al.

Love it! That’s another one of the bl**dy things off the road. Like the person filming it’s slight understatement at the end :D:D
