I’m no expert on anything along the liines of engineering/maintenance of lightnings but i’ll happily volunteer myself to help out on the topic of lack of manpower.

Me too, it’s only over the river from me. Reckon I could manage once a month or so, better than nowt isn’t it? Any chance of sorting something out chaps, as was mooted by Peter?

Depends what you like- there are some lovely diecasts and some right dogs, and the same goes for plastic kits too. I like the way plastic kits can be customised- I rarely make a model as it comes without adding a few of my own touches- and if you’ve got reasonable research and are half decent with the glue and paint then the world’s your lobster! My efforts are far from competition-winning efforts but what the hell, I’m happy with them.
